The Grounds
Both gîtes stand on one estate. The pond, the wellness meadow, the kitchen garden and the donkey paddock are shared with the guests of the other house.
Swimming in plant-filtered water
Plants keep the water clean, the way any natural pond works. You swim here without chlorine.
On one side a bank of white pebbles to wade in from. On the other, reeds and water lilies with dragonflies above them. The water is there for guests of both houses: bring a towel, you need nothing else.
Sauna and hot tub, all to yourselves
In the meadow stand a sauna and a hot tub you rent for yourself, at € 20 an hour. Nobody walks past.
Stay a week or longer and the first two hours are on us. Book it with Fabienne on arrival, so everything is warm in time.

Pick it from the garden, or have it brought to you
The kitchen garden grows what the season gives. When something is ripe, you may pick fresh vegetables and herbs for a small fee.
Ask Fabienne and she will walk out with you to point out what is ripe. And if a day at the coast has left you with no appetite for cooking, we will take care of dinner: Belgian beef stew with fries, vegetarian lasagne or pizza. On arrival day that saves you a trip to the shops.
Two donkeys with a nose for apples
They are in our logo for a reason. The donkeys come to the gate of their own accord as soon as they hear someone, especially on the La Perle side. They are happy with a scratch, happier with a piece of apple or a carrot. Ask Fabienne first: their appetite knows no limits.
